Hi More Terminator miniatures for ( Terminator Judgment Day )

Hi! Here are some more pictures of my Terminator gaming items.

IMG_7132.JPGHello again! Here are some pictures from my Terminator game I’m working on. I’m fixing these great destroyed buildings up. This Hunter Killer is Number 0140. Heis fighting my two old M-48 Patton tanks. These older tanks were dug out of the ruins and fixed up all over the country. They were much better for repairing due to less high tech EQ. Some were found at American Legion Halls! The few Modern M1A-1s Abrams around after Judgment Day that were still usable did not last long. But there are a few here and there, very rare! Also John has older M-113 APCs and one or two M-60s. He would throw all of of his big guns to destroy this SkyNet base! Sadly most of the high-tech weapons of the world were destroyed or their tech was EMP burned out. In the Battle of the Four Horsemen I’m working on, John Conner has a few tanks that did get to this battle in L.A. to help in the attack to destroy this new SkyNet base! He lost much of his assets just getting them to the SkyNet base. But he knows something. This base could change the war if not destroyed! [:-|] Hi again! I’ll be adding some new pictures very soon! I’m working on my game terrain, miniatures and building a WW2 destroyed 20mm (1/72-1/76) factory for a friend, as well as some Napoleonic 15mm buildings, and 28mm Dark Ages buildings and 1700s farms for friends. Plus some Star Wars terrain for my son’s 28mm Star Wars:-() Poured thin as me old Papa used to say! Anyhow I owe a very late battle report for my son’s zombie game. I will post it soon, very sorry about delay. For Terminator I’m working on some buildings and some more ruined cars, also painting some humans and polishing some Terminators. I have found a way I like to do my Terminators when they have no skin, to polish them well, then blackwash them, polish more, then a little bit of red for the eyes, etc… then a nice shining clear coat. They look very nice, I think I’ll be showing you. As I have said, this is an ongoing wargame blog and I’ll be adding things in that are not Terminator. But that said most will be Terminator items. Like my stuff and stuff from my friend Mike Boynton. I was told today by another Terminator player I could add his items as well. He has very cool Winter Terminator Factory game! I’ll also be adding the links to see these great sites. I hope that as time goes on we can add more Terminator game sites. [:-|] a Merry Christmas! •<[:-|]} Just few days yet. I’m looking very forward to the new 5th Terminator movie. I saw a trailer for the first time at the new Battle of the Five Armies the Hobbit! If you have not gone it is super! Best movie in a long time! Please see it if you can! The farewell song is very cool. Mr. Jackson’s way of saying thank you and farewell! Hope he gets the keys to the Early book. Love that one book. My other dog (a big German Shepherd) is named Haun! Well, more soon! Thanks for looking, bye now {];-(,) Goblin, have to work on that one. Plz feel free to leave better Gobo face lol! But the movie had mostly high level orcs! Still very good though. The White Wizard kicked butt!! As did the White Council!!Hi guys hope you are Having A Happy New Years Day?:-) Hey just wanted you to let you know got some more Great Terminator G.M.s to let me ad some Pictures and even what looks to be Great set of Easy Playable Rules on a PDF for Free! All Real nice guys I spoke to:-) I’ll be adding them and their own sites to bring us band of small T.J.D. Gamers to the front as your helpers and contacts for a Great Miniature game. That for some reason is Not being made yet by big Company? I’m not sure why this is,may be the rights cost to much. But I have heard that miniature game companies don’t think there is the Interest in the Miniature/ RPG world? I think this is very wrong! If I could I would try get the rights myself it’s got so much to offer the Mini/ RPG Gaming world! Over the next week or so ( I’m not good a Putting stuff on here I’m new to it so please bear with me ) I’ll be adding the Pictures Rules sites and more of my TJD builds So please keep checking back . And if you are a Terminator player please leave us your post! Have a Very Happy Weekend! •{[:-/)] Terminator warring a Funny hat and blower thing)) Hello I’m sorry I’m not well I’ll be adding some new folks pics and sites for you very soon when I’m better. I ask you to please check back . If you run a Terminator miniature game please leave comments to join the ring . HI GUYS SORRY I HAVE BEEN SICK I HAVE ON GOING RATHER BAD ILLNESS. I ‘LL BE BACK NEXT WEEK AND HAVE NEW PICTURES OF MY STUFF AND OTHERS PLEASE CHECK BACK MAYBE THIS WEEKEND. Thanks [:-|]

New Terminator Pictures from my Friend’s site.

Hi posting some new Terminator Miniature Game ( T.M.G.) pictures from my friend Mike Boynton’s site. He has done a great job building his Terminator Judgement Day ( T.J.D.) future war game. He was the first one I saw making T.M.G. games online.

IMG_0390.JPG Hey, I love Mike’s detail here. Note the real nice white VW Bug in Pic#1, next we have a super nice gun car, it looks like you can take the gun out and put a guy in to man the gun! I need to ask him if they are magnetized? [:-)] More soon. Thanks for looking! The Exit sign is very nice add on here!

IMG_0396.JPGHere are some great painted Terminators by Mike. They are getting ready to attack his TechCom forces. He has a nice Hunter Killer Tank. I think it is a Hollywood Collectables model. They did great stuff! Their large Hunter Killer Tank (H. K.) was super! It even has working lights! They are pricey now but there is a great tank by Pegasus models you can get for about $50+ on a good deal. I know this is high but if you can find the other stuff cheap then use the tank as a centerpiece, that way it’s a better deal. There are some other models out there until a miniature wargame company buys the rights to Terminator. Even then I’m thinking it will not be cheap due to the size. The smaller Hunter Killer tanks work great, and they can still be found for good prices! I’ll post a picture.

<img src="https://The first item is the very nice Playmates Hunter Killer called T-1 Tank.

IMG_1078.JPG This tank can still be found new for under $15 on Ebay and the like. It makes a great Sci-Fi AI tank for other games. Also if you can find a fair number of them you can take off the upper housing and use it as AI Gun Turret as seen at the Prison Camp at SkyNet HQ in Terminator Salvation. Make the lower track section into other SkyNet vehicles. I’m making some Support Artillery. And a Reaper Hunter Killer from Terminator Nightmares. By cutting the bigger Terminator Trooper in half and putting him on the lower part of the T-1. I’ll be showing how to do this in the near future. The next item is the Black Steel Flying Hunter Killer. I use this lovely piece as a Terminator Assault Troop Gunship. It opens in the front and looks like it would hold a full squad of Terminator ground troops and two AI bikes or some of my other mini tanks etc… It can be found around $25 to $40 new. One of these is a nice item if repainted (or not) for 28mm Sci-Fi use like drop ship or assault gunship etc… The last item is a very easy to find pack that has great Hydrobot Terminator. I got a lot of these cheap at Dollar Tree. Another great Sci-fi miniature item for other games!

IMG_1072-2.JPGWell, more next time! Hope your Holidays will be great and Merry Christmas! •{[:-)]} Terminator with Little Santa hat and beard wishing you Happy Christmas!

IMG_1085.JPG Hello! This is an alert! If you see this little dog guy he is not to be trusted 😦 I’m sorry to say El CID the Pirate is now El CID the Cheeze Puffs Bandit! And he does not care who knows it! Protect your wargame snacks from little dogs and cats! This is his sidekick, Mr. Bigglesworth. He is also a Thief! They worked as a team and got the Puffs! It was a very sad day for the Village 😦 [:-|]

IMG_0408.JPG Here are more of Mike’s great Terminator miniatures. Here are some TechCom. These are the old Terminator Leading Edge miniatures. You can still find them on Ebay and other sites. They can be a good price but a lot of the time they are bit high. That said, I still think they are the best for your core force. If you can just get a few for your main force then add others like the nice Copplestone Miniatures. They are sized a bit different, but you can mount the your Leading Edge a little bit higher. This works fine I think. If you want nice Terminator, he guy that made the Leading Edge Terminator is the same that made the Reaper miniatures that look like them. I think he owns the company. I use them both + others like the Coppelstones. I’ll be adding sites and proper names of the minis soon so you can find the items. I have any and all that look right to make a nice big army. I have my own model numbers. They are not far off from other Terminator movies, books, etc… But they are my own list. I’ll be putting that out as I go along.

IMG_0407.JPGMore TechCom with our hero John Conner with field glasses! Mike is a great painter! Check out more of his super work. The contact is on the front page of my blog.

IMG_0402.JPGMore great miniatures from Mike’s items. Terminators and the hero T-1o1 T-800 and Sarah and a young John Conner. Also Doctor Silverman from the first 3 movies (he is a very funny guy). In the Sarah Conner Chronicles he is a bit off his rocker:-) Man that Miss Hamilton Sarah, she is the hottest leading Sci -Fi lady in movie history! (Just my two cents, I think she is still a very lovely lady and very nice to her fans! I really want to see her and Mike B. back in the movies. It’s very easy to bring the dead back with time travel. [;-)]

IMG_1076.JPG Hey guys I’m sorry I forgot to post this, but I wanted to thank the heroes of WW2 on Dec. 7th 2014, he 14 becomes a 41. My family and I went to the National D-Day memorial in Bedford, Virginia. It was a lovely day to honor our heroes there. If you get a chance please go. Our standing president stopped some funding going there. The site really needs money; it came close to closing! They asked for federal funds but as I said none were given! Please support it if you can. And all our historical sites. Too many people in this land couldn’t care less about history! I think that is one of the best things wargaming has done, it has helped keep the past alive in a fun way. It really helps get young people interested in history. Please get a young person in to our hobby, we need them to carry on history. Thanks 🙂

IMG_0691.JPG National D- Day Memorial Sunday 16:30 7th December 2014. God bless all that died in that war that had no evil in their hearts! And mercy for the ones that did! Thank you, to my father, my uncles, my cousins, and to my Uncle Bud! His stories and my dad’s are the best because my son heard them too:- ) And thank you to all the old heroes, alive and dead. I could not go to Pearl Harbor so this was a great place on that nice winter day!

IMG_0412.JPGIn this line of pictures we see some super destroyed cars. Below we have Mike’s space saving post-apocalyptic buildings that fold up!! Great space savers! I know he used velcro. I think he tells more how to make them in his site. Thanks for viewing! •

Zombie Miniature Build pt2

Hello! I’m still working on my son”s Zombie Town Buildings. His game is called UNEEDA HELP! It takes place in a small town in Ky. I’ll be posting pics for a few more days. I’ll be showing our modern terrain in hope it will give help to new gamers out there to make buildings and terrain. Some will cost very little to make. I’ll then return to my Terminator game post. [:-(),IMG_9716.PNG Thanks Frank! ( Actor James Karen in Return of the Living Dead pt1)

IMG_9222.JPG Ok now let’s get to some new Pics I WANT SEE THEM FAST! Ok El CID ok. Wow he is a pushy little doggy! He real does like to play wargames. He rolls the dice and points with his lil nose to troops he wants moved! LoL

[:-)TRIOXIN 245 First barrel with Zombie Slime guy. I made this using a 55gal blue barrel from my son’s set from Toys R Us construction set. It’s a very nice set made for them I think it was 20$ lid comes off! Slime Zboy is from Wargames Factory male Zombie set. I bent his legs up so he can fit in and come out. White top is a pull ring from an OJ carton. I love those shield-looking pull rings, use them in a lot of my builds! It’s not done yet, needs lid put on and glass view port, then painting and phone # key pad. The pics are from the movie Night of the Living Dead part one and two.

They are great movies but not all of the first one is for kids so you might have them leave the room for some naked bits of punk rock girl and there is cursing. (I myself only let my son see some of the movie. I’m good with the remote clearing of parts. I see them first then not let him see the bad stuff, that’s just my way.) [:-) Anyhow, thanks for your viewing.

IMG_9899.JPG The last item above is the Uneeda warehouse we are building. It will have 3 bathrooms (for players to get trapped in!), the head guy Bert’s Office, with his own private bathroom. The shared office of Uncle Frank and the kid has a small janitor closet also. Stairs to the basement where the TRIOXIN-245 is stored. And the floor that when done will have a lot of fun items like hanging skeletons. The basement will be done with Dwarven Forge walls. (I have come to really love their just great wargame terrain! If you have not checked them out you might do so. The best way to see their items is in person, no picture shows the real beauty of their products. I fell in love when buying sets for a friend and I got to look at them. WOW! Anyhow on the outside we will have Christmas bricks from a sheet my son got at Michael’s craft store. He also made a nice AC unit for the roof. It was his own cool idea. Well, I’ll be posting more later then I’ll return to the Terminator build.

I’m also building a WW2 Factory in 20mm for a friend. It will also have a cool terrain with it. I’ll post some pics for you. I do hope you have enjoyed my blog. Sadly I have had no replies. I no it’s not as good as some wargame blogs on here but it would be great to hear from you readers? Thanks, Greyson in Va.

IMG_9681.JPG Well night night all..ZzzZzz

IMG_9960.JPG Zombie Trailer Park Trailer. My son wanted the insides of the trailer fixed up for his game. Here are pics. He likes the way I do my skirmish games. They are a 1 to 1 scale game to the miniature. So I fix up the insides of all my buildings. From carpet to toilets to guns under pillows. It’s just the way I like to do it. [:-) Here is the Uneeda Building bit more done. Used the Christmas Brick walls for outside of building cloths pins must be put on to hold in place while drying.

IMG_9962.JPGSorry top pic is the Police Station the bottom is Uneeda building.{:-/] Here is more pictures of the Police Station. It is foam core board from the Dollar Tree. The outside is the brick sheet. Cost of this building and the Uneeda is about $3.25. I’m low on funds but I told my son I would make his game for him. He has nice police cars, trucks, cars, pickups, etc. Already with his birthday money he got some buildings for a very good price. So with the buildings and terrain I’m making he will have some great modern game items. Here are pics of PD.

IMG_0061.JPG Oh my wife and son did most of the work on the Uneeda. And my wife did work on the Police Station as well! I can’t cut straight to save my life. I’m really proud of how well they did. It’s super I think. I drew out the plans sadly maybe a tad too small on some of the rooms. I forget the miniatures are not people. Nobody has a 5ft foot ring attached to their feet (:-\), lol. But that said each room will hold at least one figure. I did cut out a lot on the PD as well but not very well 😦 I did try to make the two trailers look good on the inside. I did all the work on them making small rooms again:-( Anyhow please let me know if you wish to know anything about the terrain or the games I’m showing here. I love to help new gamers. I started a game club back in 1989 for kids to get off video games a bit and learn history, crafts, painting etc., and for new adult gamers. I have tried over the years to help newbies get miniatures and terrain cheap or even free. Some of the kids I had in the club had very little money for hobby items 😦 Our hobby is not well known. I think it’s very important for us older gamers to get new blood into the hobby. Like this little guy here, his name is El Cid. He is learning to wargame. As I have said he rolls dice and points to minis he wants moved. He gets very happy when he kills a bad guy.

IMG_0087.JPGWell here is a picture of my son’s first game he set. I’ll do an after action report and more pictures in next post. We got most of the buildings etc. done. But we still have work to do yet, the buildings, roads, street signs, graveyard, river and more. But all there seemed to have a fun game, that’s what it’s all about. The players did very well. It was the first miniature game for some. This first picture is the police road block set up just before the river on the edge of the town of Racville. These brave men did not make it sadly but they put up a good fight!

IMG_0064.JPGMore pictures of the game. You can see the green cloud of gas from the broken open Trioxin 245 barrels. I’ll start the after action report this weekend. Thanks for looking in[:-)}

IMG_9431.JPG Stupid Zombies lil mini guys … Ohh Yawn .. Zz I’ll Bite them let me tell you! Well I’m going to take a little nap first . They will be soorry stuuupid Zomboys, after my nap I’ll tell you what Zz I’m going to bitzzz..e all thoZzzzz se lil Zom Zom Zzzzz

IMG_9433.JPG EL CID likes this war hat. You see he is known to be a bit of a pirate! Here is th

IMG_0263.JPGe War Dog he just rolled 5 killing a unit in the Game Empire by MB. See the look of Power! He is a Happy tail waging Warrior of Doom to all that Challenge his Might! Yes he really dose seem to enjoy it he he will point to the doomed unit then he picks up Dice and Rolls! Then wags his tail when he rolls well. ( and he rolls well most of the time:-)

Hi! Just wanted to post some pics from my Son’s Zombie game build

Hello! A bit off the Terminator for minute. Just wanted to post the building I’m making for my son’s Zombie game. I’m cutting square foam blocks into smaller blocks to make old style stone building. It’s about 1920s style. In the story line it’s an old bar from the 20s which now belongs to a biker club. I’m building a full ground level and half second floor. It has a hidden room from old speak easy days in the middle and bathroom on the first floor, storage in the basement. It will have inside steps up to the 2nd floor, two bedrooms. Also got less than $1.50 in cloth to make US cloth flags and clothes, blankets, wall trim, and carpets for his trailer park. Here are pics.

IMG_9543.JPG Here is first pic of 1st level with Ed the Zombie for scale )/:-()

IMG_9545.JPG Its fun to do crafts with the family. Even pets can join in! Our little Wargame Dog El Cid thinks so:-)

IMG_9536.JPG That’s right, I shhhuurre do!
IMG_9547.JPG Here is my fast drawn blue print with round 20mm bases drawn for scale and size work bar and walls bathroom and it’s on the mat board. It will be covered by carpet etc. This is a cheap but slow way to make a building. I have never tried this before.

IMG_9556.JPG Here is after about 200+ blocks are in, the first floor is done as far as inside walls height and some shelves behind bar, a table for biker meetings in back. Total cost so far $1.35. Mat board was free, as were the coffee sticks for shelves and tongue depressors for bar table. Doors are not great but have a lot to do. They open, close and can be cut out later for nice real wood doors. Still need steps, main wood doors, windows, paint etc. But the hardest part is done. If you use this method do get new blades to cut the blocks in 4 bits. I’ll show blocks in bit.

IMG_9557.JPG Here we have Dead Ed and my son’s custom Ash miniature from Army of Darkness (we love that movie). They are hard at work, or Ed is anyway. Ash is telling his dead butt what to do. Both miniatures are Wargames Factory. th

IMG_9558.JPGe Here is the fabric from Walmart crafts dept. I’m using it for clothes on clothesline, carpets, wall hangings, blankets and and Old Glory. Ash had Ed wash him some pants for the night. There are some nice looking plastic ladies in the trailer park down the road/;-)

<a href="https://

IMG_9560.JPGAfter a hard day of work (Ed’s hard work) Ash is having a nice cold drink made for him by his good body errrr buddy. Ed is just happy his good friend is enjoying a cold one even though he can’t :-(. Really he is just glad Ash likes him at all and he does not have 2 12ga. slugs through his head or a chain saw blade. {=-)

IMG_9604.JPGHere are some pictures of weapons I carved off the plastic bits from the Wargames Factory for my son’s zombies. The axe is for the axe guy from Resident Evil. Very sorry about the pics, they are not real clear but the hatchet camper guy and the axe guy turned out great:-)

IMG_9561.JPGLast picture shows inside of the biker club hidden room, meeting room, bathroom, and table I am making. I will add a skull to the table. The last pics show two new zombie boys almost ready for their night on the town. I’ll be adding filler to arms and making them and I hope the biker club house look better{=-) The club house I’m hoping can be used for not just a club house but other times, places, 20s speakeasy, crude cut stone merch bar on some far off world. Like a Firefly world. In the end it will have furniture, sinks, shower, toilet, table, chairs, bottles ect. I’ll also be lining up the walls better, putting carpet down, better doors, framing out doors and windows:-) Take care! More soon. Please let me know anything I can help with.

IMG_9578.JPGI’m one year old and I voted today. (Yep, I’m a mandog now!) I also vote yes to my dad’s blog! Here is picture of one more building for my son’s game. It’s the Uneeda Medical supply Co. (from Return of the Living Dead). It is based on the building a bit but not the same.

Terminator T-600 work. [:-|]

Hi! Here is my first T-600 converted miniature. I will be making at least one squad of the older T-600 rubber skin men.

<img src="https://

IMG_8333.JPGHi! For my T-600 model Terminator I used a miniature from HorrorClix The Lab (named Vat Grown Clone). Here is the picture of it plain as it comes out of the box. I love the HorrorClix for many great reasons! #1 They can be found cheap very often and still in bricks or cases sometimes! #2 You can use them for a lot of modern and Sci-fi Horror uses: Terminators, Post Apocalyptic, Zombies, Monsters… And there are a lot of great minis in their lines! Hero Clix, HorrorClix, etc. Do look them up. Little paint work, a new base, Bam! A new, great looking miniature 🙂

Anyhow these guys look very plastic skinned to me. I tried (not very well sadly) to keep the plastic skin look. I messed with eyes, tore the skin, had to match paint, it was not easy. I also added some bits of old, very thin cloth bandage to make torn clothing. I also used this on my car dead. But anyhow, I think he looks good! I placed an AK-47 gun from Wargames Factory in his left hand. I left the big (crazy guy I’ll kill youuuu!) knife in his right hand, more bloody though. I also cut the stock off the AK-47 to make it fit better. I put a little rust on the knife and gun to show wear! He might not be keeping weapons up well? I do think though that if he were working 100% or close, he would never let his equipment get rusty. After all, these are very high tech killing machines. They would not like jamming guns any more than any smart soldier would.

Well please look for the modern Human Male/Female and Zombie Male/Female sets from Wargames Factory. They are a great price and lots of nice add-on stuff such as canteens, backpacks, ammo pouches, sheathed knives, etc. My guy has a canteen with a bullet hole and an ammo pouch, maybe a few tools to help fix himself up. The base is from Wargames Factory. It’s a round 20 mm base. Also I added bits of carved plaster and carved plaster to look like a skull (sorry the pic’s not great, I’ll work on that). It was just a piece of plaster that looked easy to make into a half crushed skull. The little bit of rusted L beam on the back is just a bit of handle of a plastic fork! I will go into making nice modern building frames like I, H, U and L beams:-) And I have also found the Zombies from Wargames Factory and others are going to make super nice emaciated, live humans living in the ruins of a post J-Day world. Just fill in holes here and there, very easy to fill with paint even or putty, or glue. Most can be made to look like living, skinny humans with torn clothes, right out of the box after gluing them together. Something for our human heroes to save! Maybe so many victory points added for saving the poor folks from SkyNet death camps, and labs. After all the more people left, the more to make soldiers, build weapons, find food and clean water, and make babies. Without them it’s over anyway. Plus it’s just the right thing to do if you can. They are somebody’s friend, family, or just poor humans needing heroes! [;-)]. I will add links to above items later.

IMG_8136.JPGHi! Here is a great Terminator picture. I believe this is a T-600 or maybe a T-700 or newer model 1o1, or T-800 as they are called later, I’m thinking, due to seeing the eyes glowing red without face damage. I’m thinking he is a T-600, after all he did not even try to get past the door security before he opened up. This scene was a lot bigger in the T-1 movie. It had John Conner at a strategy meeting and Kyle was taking away wounded. I wish I could see this scene; I’m hoping it’s out there. Anyhow this is one of my favorite Terminator movie scenes. The way this Terminator goes to his work very systematically. I love it! Very powerful scene I think!

Anyhow a friend of mine I hope will be showing how he makes this guy in miniature. I’ll post it later.

By the way, the actor that did this super scene is named Franco Columbu! He is good friends with Mr. Schwarzenegger and was also in Conan (another great set of movies). I think the way he did this little part is very well done! It’s one of the things you left the theater with. He just had a Birthday Aug. 17, a late Happy Birthday to our future Terminator! Really the only one we see in the movies doing what his model was meant to do, infiltrator!

IMG_8147.JPG A little better close up our future Terminator as he has come to be called. Note he does seem to have a uniform on. I’m hoping to make this guy myself. I hope he will look half as good as this screen shot.

IMG_8304.JPGHi! Here are two more of my T-600 model. He is standing on a rubble field I made using bits of old plastic and plaster carved to look like concrete, and Wargames Factory skeletons. The packs are great, they have a lot of extra skulls and arms for just this kind of fun add on[:-|]

IMG_7922.JPG Hi! Just wanted to put out few more helpful pics of T-600. This is a handsome older gent. Trying to keep up with the shiny, fancy, younger models. Well, he sure gives it a good go in T4 movie. Our aging, out-on-the-town fellow is not out of the fight just yet! He is sporting a very nice mini gun in the right hand with back pack, ammo feed, and under his left arm he has (what I believe) is an early model heavy plasma support weapon hooked to a power pack located in back. If he could smile with what’s left of his rather ruined plastic face,
he would. I do hope our hard fighting hero will not be forgotten by SkyNet and given a commendation for his valiant activities against the Resistance. [:-/]

(In case you did not know this is a Terminator Head/Face [:-|] not broken [:-/] broken. Just lil fun at end of each lil post. I’ll put more good pictures of T-600 up. Thanks! [:-)]

IMG_8550.JPG Here are more good pics. I’m going to try and take a zombie head/body from my old War-games Factory set. And play with making some T-600s.

IMG_8551.JPG These great pictures are for helping you in making your own 28mm, 20mm, 15mm, or even 12/10mm Terminators for your own personal use. Some are movie pics, some are from awesome toy manufacturers. I’ll be putting links and any credits where they are due later. But for now, hope you will start your own Terminator Miniature Wargame. T-600 would be happy if you did (he really likes you! He will leave you for last!) He is so considerate, his MaMa SkyNet taught him even though he is a Mass Killer he does not have to be rude. [:-/]

IMG_8549.JPG Here is very cool toy. I found that when I have been looking for pictures of, say Kyle Reese, that it was not easy to find pics. 😦 But I did find really well made toy pictures. If you are looking around for good pics to help build, paint, etc., places like Hot Toys and others are a big help. They have already done the research. Colors may not be just perfect, or guns not exactly right, but I have found them a help. If you have the money to get some of these super collectables, display them and use them in your painting, etc. You can even put them out for looks near your game. Say you had your gaming group over and a T-600 guarding your crisps/chips table? Anyhow something to think on.

I have a lot of the Terminator Salvation toys; I really like them. The T-1, I got a few of them in a discount dollar store. And my son loves the others he got in a Dollar Tree for $1 each. He took them and made his own 4-inch game. It’s super! He added bits from other lines like Star Wars, The Core ( kind of like old GI Joe 4-inch figures) and GI Joe and others. He made a great game and it looks very cool. I’ll post pictures of his next game.[:-)] Hey, you can still find cases of them for a great price if you wanted a BIG Terminator game. It does look great and it’s very fun. My son’s game is platoon level. He made and got some real nice buildings, vehicles, weapons packs and so on. It’s a lot of fun for any age! If you have a young wargamer, give it a try! Find a case of the 4-inch figures on eBay for about $25! Great start squad level, a few foamcore ruins, bits of plaster, nice grey felt from Walmart (if they have cloth), dice, a few of his/her friends. Each gets one or two figures, some pop, chips, some simple rules, and there you have it! 4-inch figure fun that helps kids learn to enjoy our hobby!

And the T-1 and the awesome Hunter Killer are great for minis. The T-1 is not hard to find for a good price but sadly the Hunter Killer from the toy line is up there in price. But keep an eye out at yard sales and thrift shops. Sometimes when you are looking on eBay lots you can find Terminator toys mixed in that were not listed in the auction title (for example, “Lot 4″ Toys Soldiers Star Wars Spider-Man Other”). You might get lucky. I have seen lots like this go for very little with the H/K in them, just FYI. When I post some of my son’s games I’ll talk more of the places and toy company he uses for the game.

Thanks for checking in! Please let me know if you have enjoyed this blog or if I can help you in any way to build your own Terminator game. I got most of my items a good while back, years ago, for some things like the Leading Edge Terminator sets. I got a lot of them over the years. Anyhow I’m here to make a site not just for me but to get wargamers playing Terminator Miniature Wargames.

Oh BTW when you search any Terminator wargaming you will be hit by lots of Games Workshop Terminator items. They are a powerful type of Space Marine in their 40k game. I find sometimes it’s best to search images and link through to sites you see, it’s faster. Also try putting movie names in like Judgement Day, Salvation and so on.

I’m hoping YOU WILL JOIN ME MAKING THIS NEW TERMINATOR WARGAME RING THE BEST IT CAN BE. PLEASE HELP [:-|] T-600 Is asking for your kind help. Please give by making this new resource for Terminator gaming after all the new movie is coming out next year! Thanks for any help! [:-)]

IMG_8553.JPG Ohh look even our Buddy the T-1o1/ T-800 needs your help. Don’t make him beg! [:-|]

IMG_8547.JPG Hi! This last prop head is more like a zombie head. I think since the later model Terminators have real flesh, it would look and smell bad (dead cat bad as was said in the first Terminator movie). I do think it would not seem too far off if it looked very zombie-ish with its flesh decaying in places. I know in the movies and Sarah Connor Chronicles they said the flesh was fast healing. I’m thinking though it would start falling apart with a lot of damage.

Something to share you might not know, in the first movie they shot a scene where the Terminator T-1o1 was driving away from the first Sarah Connor killing and he ate a Snickers bar, wrapper and all! And Kyle told Sarah that they had to eat to keep the flesh up. He also said they had a small chicken sized blood pumping heart! ( I kid you not [:-/] ). But they took the candy bar and chicken heart story away due to it seeming a bit silly. I really want to see this scene! I wish I had the better full movies but alas I’m not in the best of health so money for such is not around. That’s why I’m going to show you some cheaper ways to make a nice T.J. Day game.

I did get a very cool Happy Meal toy just today. I’m looking to make it into a spider Hunter Killer. I’m going to show you a picture of this toy. As of my post the toy is at Mc Donald’s in the kids’ meal. It cost 2.49 for the hamburger meal. They also have big kids’ meals with more food and a bigger drink if you like. The double cheeseburger kids’ meal is very nice I think. 🙂 Or if you like you could just buy the toys. At some McDonald’s you can get toys for less than a dollar, like 79 cents! Anyhow the name of these toys are Hex Bugs. They are all kind of cool looking. But the one I see best as a Spider (over the rubble runner) is the Blue Spider #1 toy and the Purple Spider #7 toy. My son loaned me his for the picture. He is making H/K as well. They are the same toy just different colors. Anyhow get them while you can! I think you could make a really nice legged Hunter Killer. All for very low cost, less than a dollar with the food you get. I’m going to be adding search lights, 2 or 3 guns and nice red eyes, or an eye antenna. Anyhow please do get one and make something real cool and take great pictures. I’m looking forward to seeing it [;-|]

Here are pics. Sorry if they are bit hard to see. I’ll fix this later when I post the done model. I’m going to try take step by step pics of what I make. Never have done this but hope it turns out ok. [:-|]

IMG_8705-0.JPG Hi friend! I’m starting on those nice Hex Bugs. H\/K the arrow down means land vehicle. H/\K, arrow up means Air Hunter killer, water flow means water based H~K, HÂ¥K means drilling or underground Hunter Killer. I was thinking the term Tank H/K and Air H/K don’t really work that well? So a small mark to denote the purpose of the H-K is cool way to tell, like with any military unit. [:-|]

Here are some pics of the truck my wife kindly got me for our anniversary. [;-)] For you younger married guys that are close to being married, please read this little bit of advice. My wife and me were not supposed to give each other gifts. She said, let’s just pass on it due to bills, gas prices, food prices, medical bills, etc. It would be just fine Honey if you gave me a kiss and a hug for our anniversary. She looked very sweet and smiled largely. EEMMM I said thinking!?! Is this true? She wants nothing on the day of our wedding?? EEMMM Then all of the sudden WHACK on the left side of my head! It was the bad little Terminator T-1 on my shoulder that had hit me!?! He had on of all things a Bad Guy Black cowboy hat! And in a thick, low Austrian voice said, “Grey! Don’t be an idiot over what she said!! BBUUUY Yourself Something Niiiccee! Forget her, she’s fine with it! You will be happier. She will be happier, I swearrrr! Terminate this gift plan!” [:-/]. But then all of a sudden WHACK-WHACK! Two hard hits to the right side of my head! It was the Terminator T-2! He had on a white, good guy cowboy hat! “Why are you talking to him?” he said in a low, angry voice. “He is an idiot x1o1! You will be Terminated by this fool’s idea! Go buy her a gift or she will be sad and cry, and then I will cry too! [:-#]. Well that lil Terminator guy looked real mad. He likes my wife; she talks to him. 🙂 So got to thinking, yep, lil white hat T-2 was right again! So I got some nice gifts for her and what do ya know she had nice gifts for me! Man that would have been a bad day if I would have listened to the black hatted T-1. So I’m trying to tell you guys it’s better to give than not get at all. 😉 My wife is a half gamer, my son and I are working on making her a lady gamer. Not a gamer widow.

Anyhow the truck is very nice. It’s about 1/45 to 1/43 scale. It’s a blue Ford Super Cab with two opening front doors and an opening tail gate. And as a great bonus it has been weathered! Not badly if you ask me. I’ll be keeping some of this and painting over some things like the tires all tan (to show mud all over them I’m thinking) but it does not look right, so I’ll be fixing this. Anyhow here is the nice truck. [:-|]

IMG_8832.JPG This truck was gotten at CVS pharmacy on a diecast cars rack! They have a lot of really great cars, trucks, police vehicles, 4×4 vehicles and old cars like 60s, 70s, Mustangs, 50s. Just lots cool stuff. Some are 1/43, 28mm, some are 1/72, 20mm, some are 1/40. (1/32 are a bit large but if you use just 1/32 with 28mm figures I think they are ok.) Also check out Rite Aid Pharmacy; they have the same kind of diecast. If I had the cash I would buy a lot of them. The cars go for about $4.99 to $5.99 in this range but some may be higher or less. Great for Sci-Fi, Road Warrior, Modern or Zombie Games. If you get some, please post pics and where you got them. I’m sure there are many places that sell them. Thanks. [:-|]

Well, I will be posting more on the work I’m doing. Please let me know what you would like to see in this blog and I’ll try and put that up. I’ll be putting more of the items I’m building like the more modern buildings I’m working on. Also the vehicles and troops for both sides. I will do my best to put it in order for you but I tend to jump around when working on large projects. It helps to keep from getting overdone with one piece. Anyhow thanks for looking [:-|]

IMG_8226.JPG Here’s a very good close up to show us we can use 50cal. HMGs too for our Terminator game. In the 2nd movie they seem to have used converted 50cal HMGs to fire plasma. Now taking them to be real guns (not just cheap extras to do for future guns) they must have been converting these. Having been cleaned, new parts added to, removed all parts that are not right and place in new ones that still fit the look of the gun’s frame barrel housing box. Or they could have been kept normal for the must part, and just a few new bits added, and it fires plasma bullets! Or like it seemed in Teminator Salvation, the .50cal HMGs. It’s just normally a few add ons but for our use it looks the same. I’m making 3 types of 50cal HMGs for my game[:-|]

I’ve been blogging on my iPhone, so putting in a rough draft then coming back later to edit. So please be patient if you happen on some rough posts. I will get to fixing it all up when I can!

HELLO Welcome to my 28mm Terminator MiniatureWargame Blog!

This blog will detail the creation of my Terminator 28mm wargame, which I have been working on for quite a while. As I’m writing this, the first Judgment Day took place 17 years 23 hours 16 mins 23 seconds ago, at 2:14am, August 29, 1997. SkyNet becomes self aware and launches the US missiles, both ICBM and some SLBM.

The time was changed when Sarah Connor, John Connor, Miles Dyson, and Terminator model 101 (for fans who want clarification, that’s one-october-one, series one, produced in the month of October, first model) destroyed the research facility for Cyberdyne systems, putting Judgment Day back to July 2004. Then again, following the Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles storyline, Judgment Day was changed again, making three possible, distinct timelines.

Some sub captains did not launch due to doubting the orders. They would not launch for days in some cases. Once they saw the war had for sure started, they then launched at prime, 2nd, and even 3rd targets in the USSR. If they had just believed the stories of the central SkyNet computer sending false intel about Soviet launches and having deemed all man her enemy, then maybe some of the horror starting August 29th could have been avoided. Some part of civilization might have been saved. But the Soviets were not much for understanding ;-( and guess you could not blame them and ask them just to take the loss. It really was too late.

Also many bombers and cruise missiles as well as some IRBMs hit their targets, both in the USSR the US as well as Europe and elsewhere. Everybody chose a side and joined in the nuclear game. The war went on, man against man, for a time. Until it was clear the war was not man to man, but man against machine! By then man was a desperate creature indeed! He now faced a war against a very technological superior foe!IMG_7064.JPGIMG_7070.JPG

IMG_7076.JPGAbove are some of my Terminator terrain. Much is left to be done so I hope you will join me as I go through the process of acquiring, building, painting and learning more of the World of Judgment Day Wars! Meaning the 3 or more different times of the war against the machines.

I have many fun add-ons in my own game. They are Human Traders (called the W.A.S.H.), Human Elite Troops that will stop at nothing to destroy the machines. Animals and plants that have by radiation and genetic work become monsters. I don’t want too much of this in the game; I feel it’s fun to add in, but not overdo it. And types of bio weapons made by SkyNet. I’ll go in depth in all of my add-ons. I will also be trying to bring all who are working on Terminator Judgment Day games together. So please let me know what you think? And if you are working on T.J.D. games please let me know. I’ll put a link to your site here or any Terminator gaming I find. [:-|] Thanks, Grey

IMG_7256.JPG Hi! This is a very cool picture from the Terminator movie. It gives you an idea of what I’m shooting for in my own Terminator game.

IMG_7926.JPG Here are two pictures of the cars, both from T2 movie and my cars of the dead! So far I have a few good ones. I’m pretty happy with my rust mix. I’m still working on some better ruined cars. Some are made from 1/43 1/45 1/48 and even 1/50 1/55, the scales I find have worked ok together so far. Some are diecast, some are resin, some are just homemade hand carved and foil copies.

I’ll be posting the foil copy site soon. It’s a great help for mass ruined vehicles. I learned this from a great fellow at Historicon classes in the painting room. If you have never gone to the Cons’ painting rooms for classes I must say THEY ARE AWESOME, VERY NICE FOLKS taking time from their games, shopping , speakers , etc. to teach some really great stuff! Please if you go there to any HMGS East Cons, check it out! It’s great fun for you, friends and family. Very kid friendly! Ok well, I’LL BE BACK with more fun Terminator game stuff! [:-|]

IMG_7937.JPG Here

IMG_7077.JPGHere is a great picture of a T2 car of the dead, and here are some pictures of my car of the dead. My car is a diecast car from Matsio. It’s 1/48. I find this the best scale for 28mm miniatures. I find having any good cheap constant source in my area for any 28mm diecast is impossible. I have gotten some at Ollie’s, Big Lots, Rose’s, 5Below, my local hobby store (only one close at all) and very few at Kmart, less at Walmart, Ross’s, Salvation Army and thrift stores and Dollar stores. I do prefer to go to a store, buy it off the shelves (I’m old fashioned that way). If you know of a good cheap source for any 28mm, please let me know and post link here for others. Thanks! [:-|]
IMG_7940.JPG Hi! This is one of my Human Armored Civilian Cars. I call them A.C.C.s

IMG_7995.JPG Here are more great pics from the Terminator movies. The up-armored pickup is from T2; the armed car is from T1. The humans of Techcom use whatever assets they can dig up. In my battle it’s mid-war for the humans in this battle. I’m working on this battle in the Art district of L.A. where there are many older buildings. The humans under John Connor have put together a large force. It will have a lot of valuable Techcom assets. This was called in my world story, The Battle of the Four Horsemen. I’ll go into this more in detail later[:-|].

IMG_8141.JPGHere are two more pics. The top picture is from Terminator Salvation, the bottom picture is from Terminator 2 Judgment Day. The first one shows Early War before the founding of TechCom. The second is end of the war. If it really ends the timelines are many. In the Sarah Connor Chronicles (which myself and family love so I’m putting it in as best I can to blend with the movies) included at least 3 maybe 4 timelines. As in the movies there is much timeline deviation. I could see a timeline where SkyNet does not lose to TechCom and John Connor, at least not until much longer in the future. Maybe his son will help win the war, or grandson or daughter? Some fun gaming to think on. [:-|] southavenwargames.files.wordpress.com/2014/09/img_8129.jpg”>IMG_8129.JPG

IMG_8117.JPG Some good pictures of the father of John Connor, Kyle Reese, TechCom Sgt. Serial # DN38416. Little did this hero know he would father the very same older friend that would send him to meet and fall deeper in love with Sarah Connor. For he said in the movie T1 he already had fallen in love with her via pictures and stories told him of the legend Sarah Connor. John also knew he was sending his father to his certain death! Or maybe in some other timeline he thinks of a clever way to save him?? After all, there seems to be a lot more time hopping than was told there could be in the first movie. A lot more time hopping ! [;-|]

IMG_8135.JPGFew more cool pictures of Kyle Reese. Gives us a great look at the uniform for painting.

This is my friend Mike’s Terminator page. It is an awesome page and he has done a great job. He also has some other things like his Greyskull game items. Check it out! I welcome any connections involving Terminator movie or TV but particularly wargaming. All comments welcome!

Hey friends, thanks for coming! Please keep coming back. I’m having a bit of a problem getting all things online, as I’m sure you see. I will fix this and I’ll keep posting Terminator Wargaming items! Later on the blog will add some other wargaming info. Other timeframes in historical wargaming like Old West, more Sci-Fi, some fantasy. Thanks! Greyson Plz check back, I’m working on this over the weekend.
